Flux Theatre Ensemble awarde
Citation for Excellence
in Off-Off-Broadway Theater

I'm incredibly proud of my company, Flux, and all the work we've done. But it looks like I'm not the only one! Our recent production of Adam Szymcowitcz's Pretty Theft generated amazing reviews from bloggers and NY Times critics alike, and other projects have likewise garnered their share of respect and attention. Now we can add the Independent Theatre Bloggers Association awards to our pile of accolades. Thanks, ITBA!

About Flux:

Flux Theatre Ensemble, named one of nytheatre.com's 2008 People of the Year, is also the proud recipient of two NYC Fringe Festival Awards: in 2007 the Village Voice Audience Favorite Award for August Schulenburg's Riding the Bull and in 2008 for Heather Cohn's direction of Other Bodies. Nytheatre.com calls Flux "a smart company, unafraid of challenging material, and they make a point of engaging their audience at every turn." Flux was recently heralded as "Best Indie Theater Company You Don’t Know Whose Work You Should Get Your Ass To" by Backstage reviewer Leonard Jacobs, writing for the NY Press.
